Mobile Push Notifications

Sending mobile push notifications requires the user to install the app and ensure that they allow notifications. iOS applications must get user consent to send notifications, and Android applications on Android 13+ must also get user consent to send notifications (older versions of Android will be automatically opted-in).

Email Notifications

Sending emails through OneSignal requires an account with an eligible email service provider, such as Mailgun, MailChimp, SendGrid & OneSignal Email alternative. The keys used in OneSignal for Email integration should be provided by an administrator or developer user at the Service Platform (Mailgun, MailChimp, SendGrid).

SMS Notifications

Sending SMS through OneSignal requires an account with Twilio service. The keys used in OneSignal for Twilio integration should be provided by an administrator or developer user at the Twilio Platform.

Setting External UserID

OneSignal offers the possibility to use many devices with a common external ID.
